i was honored to be there to witness this momentous occasion. family's are made in lots of ways-i have been present at births and weddings and am always amazed at how we make connections with other people and the bonds of family.
this time it was an adoption- i will never forget this day. little lucy cheered when it was announced that peter was now -officially- her brother and everyone teared up with a completeness.
