who's got it better than us?

what a perfect motto for family life-
dave can call it out and teddy shouts 'nobody!'
it was hard to ever put the camera down during this weekend. every moment seemed huge-every smile and gesture worth capturing. i can't wait to share more when i compile the slideshow-but here are some highlights.

2 years ago we were celebrating teddy's first day home-happy birthday to the big brother :)

adventures in family

family pictures should be fun-they are a lot of work to put together-but my goal is that the actual taking of pictures is mostly just me snapping pictures of a family being themselves.  

 this 'gag reel' collection makes me smile.

when i asked jennifer (mother of three, grandmother of one) if i could post these goof offs-she replied that this kind of fun is what has made 30 years fly by so fast. great family.

ring around the rosie

we had a bunny finger puppet, played with hula hoops and had rousing games of ring around the rosie-it was so delightful!!

whit and gavin

whitney and i have been friends for almost 30 years. a crazy long time-and it is always rejuvenating to spend time with friends that have known you for that long. this was an evening where 5 of my best friends from high school were able to all be together for the first time in 10 years. we laughed, read old letters, watched the kids play and had a very memorable time. i was able to take a few pictures of whitter with her beautiful boy and her baby bump :)
